Felting since 1984, Tim teaches at the Manzanita Program. His start with felt was with a weekend course given at Mendocino College. Since then, he has been working on wool felt projects and other fibers ("fibernation"). He has also studied at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with International Felt Artist Jorie Johnson. He is a member of the New England Felters Guild. Tim also works on wool felt and gypsy furniture, and he is interested in working with others to create small woolen mills to help support and strengthen our local wool industry. This is a community effort. He enjoys using different methods of felt (NUNO, NEEDLE, TRADITIONAL WET) separately and combined to make his felt creations.
