Tim Bray and Larry Sawyer are longtime residents on Middle Ridge in Albion, where they maintain productive gardens in spite of the gophers, moles, voles, and redwoods. The wonderful soil - a light sandy loam, perfect for growing almost anything, is also the ideal habitat for gophers and moles. They learned the tricks of trapping these destructive pests from their wonderful neighbors, and are happy to pass along what they know. There are many widespread myths about these animals; Tim and Larry will help you sort fact from fantasy, and show you what has worked for them. They have been leading this workshop at NSSLF for many years, catching gophers and moles just to show how easy it is.
