Arlene learned this craft from two Northern California women in 1980 and has been teaching the craft in diverse settings all over California as well as doing repair of elder rugs. Being a "trash queen" and "reuse fiend" she loves working with color, patterns and creating useful and durable items. She encourages creativity after learning the basics. Teens welcome. All materials will be provided to begin a piece including pictorial pamphlet detailing the basics. A stainless steel Braidkin lacing tool and three yards of waxed linen lacing will be available to purchase at cost ($5.00) to continue at home.
